I was reading with an orange cat seated on my right arm, purring vigorously, until the typing of this comment annoyed him. He has gone to find a more restful spot. So much for neko greeting neko.
We have strays around here (fewer than there were a few years ago), but I don't want to be near them. Ticks and fleas are a big problem with strays. Sigh. Love the pix. Thanks for posting.
I sometimes watch cat rescue videos and one of the first things that people need to do when they bring a stray indoors is get it checked and cleaned for fleas.
So many stray cats in Japan, so glad they're looked after
Thank you. Me, too.

Cats are very set in their ways. Our cat, Kinmo, hates when I talk on the phone.
It's a shame that we have to inconvenience them from time to time.
Great yawn!
I'd say thanks, but all the credit goes to the cat.
Bill -- You let the cat out of the bag! (Sorry for the "dad joke.")
Great capture of a grand yawn!
Thank you! That cat has a terrific yawn.
Daaaaaaaw!
:)
Gorgeous baby!
I love cats. :)

Yes. Strays get bugs. :(

Those stray cats seem to be healthy and happy. Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos of Curly Tail.
Thank you. It's a hard life being an outdoor cat, but it's easier when you have people who care for you.
Beautiful photos, Bill! I 'd like to write a story about that yawning cat for Sustack. Beautiful! WOuld that be okay?
Thank you Sharron. Yes, feel free to write about that cat. And if you’d like to use the photo, you’re welcome to it.
Thank you Bill. I may use it in Raymond's next Pawed Cast. Full credit will be given!
She is beautiful! I’d like to adopt her. Love the photos
Right? I'd love to take her home, too. Fortunately, she has a parade of caretakers. She also has an outside house hidden in the bushes.
"chiki neko" -- thanks for the important vocabulary lesson
You're welcome, Kollibri!
